Mike and Brian are joined by Neil Lockhart, CEO of AmeriConstruct. This one’s a bit different today! Neil is a recruiter and consultant providing best practices in hiring in the Construction industry. With a background in technology back in the early 2000’s and at least starting as an architecture major in college, construction was the industry to which Neil gravitated. Mike and Brian are joined by Brandon LoCascio, President and CEO of Inland Builders. Getting his start as a loan officer in 2005 during the real estate boom, he learned quickly the high highs and the low lows of the real estate industry – especially when 2007 and 2008 hit. Learning a ton as he went, he got his real estate license, and started flipping homes, making connections with key contractors to help support that model. That business quickly morphed into commercial development in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. With a strong business mindset and key relationships in the industry, Inland Builders is growing rapidly in the commercial development space!

Mike and Brian are joined by Ray Cerulli, President of Plastic Tops, Inc. He cut his teeth growing up in a family restaurant business and learned the value of grit and hard work at an early age. Also, the value of loyalty. So much so that when he had an opportunity to interview with another company, he went MIA because he was that upset about leaving the family business. Eventually at 18, he started at Plastic Tops pushing a broom – PUSHING A BROOM!! Now he’s the President and he does not shy away from that story to any one of his employees. Hard work, loyalty, passion and excellence in your work – those are the ingredients to a successful business and Ray certainly has all of it!

Kevin Soohoo, the Head of Growth and Leader of Sales and Marketing at Dado. Episode #55 – Adam Beamish
Mike and Brian are joined by Adam Beamish, President and CEO of Mark Beamish Waterproofing. Surviving a major ski accident as a kid and though his father was a contractor, he was kept from working out in the field due to the head injury he had received. Fast forward to post college life, Adam sought out his father for advice and was given the opportunity to come to work for him. Starting in collections, he surprisingly fell in love with the company, the community, and the passion of the workmanship and pride of being out on the job. Mark Beamish Waterproofing is one of the leading waterproofing companies in California now with 150 employees with revenue going through the roof. Adam has a passion for excellence in his craft and trusting and knowing the people he works with.

Mike and Brian are joined by Bill Carmichael, President and Founder of My Soylutions – a certified Roof Maxx dealer. Specializing in residential real estate, Bill noticed from several previous transactions the Roof Maxx product and the superiority of it on the residential side. Kevin Harrington, one of the first Sharks on ABC’s Shark Tank, has invested and jumped on board with Roof Maxx as well. Not a bad business to be a part of! Mike and Brian are joined by Eric Soderin, Project Manager for Major Capital Projects at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Eric is unique in the contractor world in that he wasn’t raised by a parent in construction, but knew early on in junior high and high school that he enjoyed creating and tinkering with objects and structures. Eventually going to school at Cal Poly and after a few positions with some General Contractors, Eric found an opportunity to return to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo managing major capital projects at the university.
